How to have everything the leaderboard holds about you deleted. One email does it.
What we hold, and what deletion removes
If you joined the leaderboard, our server holds your board entries: the display name you chose, the client id created on your device, and your run results, along with a short-lived hashed network address used for rate limiting. That is everything — the game has no accounts and collects nothing else, as its privacy policy sets out in full.
Deletion removes the stored records entirely — name, scores, client id association, and hashed address. Your entries disappear from every board, and nothing about you remains on the server.
If you never joined the board, there is nothing on our server to delete. Everything else the game keeps — settings, and the leaderboard choice itself — lives on your own device: deleting the app removes it, and on the web, clearing the browser's site data does the same.
How to ask
Email us with the subject line “Delete my leaderboard entry” and include:
- your display name, exactly as it appears on the board;
- which boards you appear on if you know (difficulty, and whether it is the Fallen or Survived board) — it speeds things up but is not required;
- your client id, if you can find it — it lets us match your entry beyond doubt. On the web version it is stored by your browser for the game's site; in the apps it is not currently displayed, so leave it out if you cannot find it.
If more than one entry carries your name, or we need to confirm the request comes from the player who made the entry, we may ask you to make a small change in the game's Settings — for example, changing your display name to a value we suggest — since only the entry's owner can. We never ask for anything beyond what is needed to match and verify the entry.
What happens next
- We confirm we received the request.
- We match the entry, verify it is yours if needed, and delete the stored records.
- We reply to confirm it is done. The whole process takes at most 30 days, and usually far less.
Deletion is permanent — a deleted score cannot be restored. If you keep playing afterwards and join the board again, new entries start from your next run.
Two things this page is not: choosing Leave the board in the game's Settings stops anything further being sent, but does not delete entries already on the board — that is what this page is for. And reporting a name with the flag control hides an entry from the board without deleting it.
Parents and guardians: if you believe a child has submitted a name, email the same address and we will delete the entry promptly — no verification hurdles.
